Who We Are

About A Grade Nevada: A Commercial & Residential Pest Management Company Rooted in Las Vegas

Why Local Matters

At A Grade Nevada, we’re a locally owned pest management company proudly serving both residential neighborhoods and commercial properties across the Las Vegas Valley. We’re not part of a national chain chasing market share; we live here, work here, and understand the area’s climate, pests, and regulations because they affect our homes and businesses, too.

While big-name companies offer cookie-cutter plans, we deliver custom pest control strategies tailored to your unique space, whether that’s your family home, a small business, or a large commercial facility. Every service plan is built around real-world risk areas, pressure zones, and your exact layout.

We take pest control seriously because it impacts the safety of your home, the health of your business, and the balance of our shared environment. Our approach follows Integrated Pest Management (IPM), which means we apply the right methods at the right time to minimize disruption and protect beneficial insects. Whether you’re dealing with ants in the kitchen or pests in your storefront, we plan each step with care.

We don’t just serve this community, we’re part of it. When you hire A Grade Nevada, you’re working directly with a team that understands your neighborhood, your needs, and your expectations. You won’t get routed through a call center. You’ll get real people who care.

IPM isn’t just a buzzword to us. It’s how we keep Las Vegas homes and businesses protected, today and in the long run.

At A Grade Nevada, pest control is more than a service—it’s a commitment to safe, science-based solutions that protect people, pets, and the environment.
Founded by John and Rachael Harris and supported by Brand and Marketing Director Diana Palladino, our team blends hands-on field expertise, animal behavior science, and thoughtful communication to deliver real results.
From inspections to outreach, we work together to make pest management smarter, safer, and rooted in long-term prevention—not just quick fixes. When you choose A Grade, you’re not just hiring a company—you’re partnering with a team that genuinely cares.

John M. Harris III – Founder & Field Strategy Director

As the founder of A Grade Nevada, John brings a grounded, science-forward approach to everything we do in the field. With over a decade of hands-on experience and certification in animal behavior, he blends practical expertise with a deep respect for the ecosystems we work in. His background as the lead trainer at Las Vegas Dog Yard adds a unique layer to his perspective—emphasizing observation, behavior, and long-term change over quick fixes.

At A Grade, John leads field operations and technician training, ensuring every inspection is thorough and every strategy is thoughtful. He works closely with Rachael to design solutions that are not only effective, but also safe for families, pets, and the planet. His approach reflects the heart of the company: do it right, do it responsibly, and treat every client like a partner.

When he’s not on a job site, you’ll likely find him working with dogs or tracking the latest field trends to keep A Grade a step ahead.

Rachael Harris – CEO & IPM Program Director

Rachael leads A Grade Nevada with a clear mission: to make pest management smarter, safer, and more human. As CEO and the creative force behind the brand, she combines her background in animal care, environmental health, and education to build solutions rooted in science and empathy. Whether she’s crafting service protocols, guiding client experiences, or designing community education tools, her goal is always the same—put people, pets, and the planet first.

She also owns Las Vegas Dog Yard with John, where their shared values of observation, respect, and behavior-based learning carry into every aspect of their work. At A Grade, Rachael oversees IPM program development, marketing, and client engagement, and is the creator behind our mascot, Inspector A Grade—turning complex pest science into something everyone can understand.

Outside of A Grade, Rachael is an advocate for humane, sustainable living—and a proud foster mom to a revolving crew of rescued dogs.

Diana Palladino – Brand & Operations Director

As Brand and Operations Director at A Grade Nevada, Diana bridges the gap between behind-the-scenes logistics and the voice of the company. From scheduling and client communication to marketing, social media, and vendor coordination, she ensures every part of the business runs smoothly—and that every message reflects A Grade’s eco-conscious, pet-safe values.
With a background in creative entrepreneurship and a household full of animals (dogs, a cat, and a bird included), Diana brings both strategy and empathy to her work. She supports everything from field coordination to brand presence—making sure our systems, clients, and community stay connected.
Outside of A Grade, Diana contributes to the Las Vegas Dog Yard’s outreach and creative direction, and runs D’s Random Things, her small business where she designs handmade goods, custom gifts, and brand collaborations inspired by real life and real people.
